N40951

N40951 is a 1974 Piper PA-28-140 equipped with a RAM 160hp conversion. It joined the Grant Aerospace Technology family in November 2020 with a humble but dated instrument panel and avionics. Right away the decision was made to bring this beautiful airplane into the 21st century. Currently we are installing a new Garmin G3X avionics suite complete with GNX375 GPS/transponder, GNC255 Nav/Com, and Garmin's amazing GFC500 autopilot. This is a major upgrade for this aircraft and the wiring for it is so extensive that the decision was made to simply replace all of the original wires in the aircraft. A new panel layout has been designed and is currently being prototyped and manufactured. There is still much more to come for this little airplane so stay tuned and check back for more updates!
