N908JD

N908JD is a Vans RV-8 and is Grant Aerospace Technology's first customer. This project was undertaken January 2018 and replaced the original panel which was mostly "steam gauges". All wiring forward of the instrument panel was pulled out and replaced. The final product included a new Garmin G3X avionics suite with a GTN600 GPS/COM and NAV1000 navigator utilizing Vertical Power's VP-X pro electronic circuit breaker system. Topped off with Garmin's GFC500 autopilot this aircraft became a real eye catcher and an excellent cross-country machine. Look at that carbon fiber overlay! You can't even tell its not real.
